Description

White cabbage is the larger variant of the cabbage and can be found to a large extent in Suriname. The white cabbage is often used in the preparation of sauerkraut, but is also often freshly prepared as vegetables or stewed together with meat. White cabbage contains a lot of vitamin C and also contains thiocyanate which has an antibiotic effect, white cabbage also contains enough fiber.
